Whole Truth Ministries
A Trauma-Informed Model to rebuilding lives.
Our approach is holistic, meaning we look at the whole person — mind, body, spirit, relationships, and practical life skills.
We believe each part of a person’s life is a pillar of growth. When these pillars are strengthened, residents can transition back into society with confidence and purpose.
Residents attend both in-house and community recovery meetings (NA, AA, CR) and take part in programs that support healing, accountability, and personal development. While we are a faith-based transitional housing program, we welcome men at any point in their faith journey. No matter where someone starts, we encourage spiritual growth and support each other along the way.
Our goal is to provide safe, structured housing, clear guidelines, and the tools needed for a healthier, more stable life — including long-term sobriety, healthy relationships, and a strong foundation for the future.
Safe, supportive housing that gives residents stability while they rebuild their lives.
Encouraging spiritual growth, hope, and personal reflection — no matter where residents begin.
Teaching budgeting, saving, and the financial skills needed for independent living.
Building job-readiness, confidence, and real-world skills for long-term employment.
Supporting residents as they seek employment through coaching, applications, and interview prep.
Helping residents navigate the process of restoring their driver’s license — a key step toward independence.
Strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and helping residents reconnect with loved ones.
Supporting the healing of family bonds and encouraging healthy, safe reunification when possible.
Transitional Housing
We operate four transitional recovery homes in the Dayton area and one in Warren County, giving residents safe and supportive places to rebuild their lives.

Our homes offer structure, accountability, and a strong recovery community. Men develop the daily habits and routines that support sobriety, responsibility, and growth.
As residents gain confidence and stability, they may move to another home within our network or transition toward independent living. One of our long-term goals is to help men build the foundation needed to become successful renters—and eventually homeowners.
We teach practical skills like budgeting, credit repair, financial planning, and maintaining consistent employment. Many of the men who complete our program leave not only sober, but also equipped to take meaningful steps toward owning a home and building a stable future for themselves and their families.

Faith Development
Faith plays a powerful role in the recovery journey at Whole Truth Ministries, helping residents build hope, strength, and direction.
Faith is an important part of recovery at Whole Truth Ministries. Residents take part in daily devotionals, weekly Bible studies, and weekly worship services to grow spiritually and stay grounded. We also use the 12 Steps, Celebrate Recovery, and mentorship programs to help men connect with a power greater than themselves and find strength for lasting sobriety.

Physical Health
Healthy bodies support healthy minds. We help residents rebuild their physical strength so they can move confidently toward a better future.
Many men enter recovery worn down from years of stress, addiction, or homelessness. Our program focuses on rebuilding physical wellness through nutrition, exercise, fresh routines, and personal care. As residents regain their strength, they often gain hope, motivation, and a renewed sense of what’s possible. Strong health supports strong recovery — and we walk with each person as they grow in both.

Personal Finance & Life-Skills Training
We help residents rebuild their financial lives with budgeting, saving, and living-skills training to support long-term stability.
more..
Money troubles often go hand in hand with addiction and instability. We teach residents how to budget, manage bills, save wisely, and make smart financial decisions. These life skills give them a foundation for independence — whether they’re returning to work, finding housing, or rebuilding relationships. By learning to handle money with confidence, our residents can take control of their future.

Work Skills Training & Education
We offer job-readiness training and education to help residents build real work skills for a stable future.
Many men joining our program need a fresh start — and that starts with gainful work. We provide practical training, workplace skills, and education to prepare residents for jobs. From learning trade skills to building workplace habits and communication skills, we aim to give each person what they need to succeed. Having a stable job supports recovery and helps men regain dignity, purpose, and independence.

Workforce Re-Entry
We help residents get back into the workforce — even after a rough past — by offering support, guidance, and resources.
After time in prison, addiction, or unstable housing, entering (or re-entering) the job market can be hard. We offer support: helping with resumes, interview prep, job searching, and connection to employers who believe in second chances. Our goal is to help each man find meaningful work, stay employed, and build a stable, productive life. Recovery and work go hand in hand — and we’re here to help make the transition smoother.

Driver’s License Reinstatement
We help men restore their driver’s license or work through legal/licensing barriers so they can regain independence and mobility.
A driver’s license and a clear record can make a huge difference — for work, family visits, and daily life. We assist residents who have lost their license or faced legal issues in navigating reinstatement, paperwork, and requirements. Having legal mobility helps them access jobs, transportation, and life-changing opportunities. Our support helps remove one more barrier to a stable, self-sufficient life.

Parenting & Relationships
We support men as they rebuild relationships and learn healthy ways to parent, connect, and communicate.
Addiction and instability can break families apart. Our program gives residents a chance to reconnect, heal, and learn healthy relationship and parenting skills. We provide guidance, mentorship, and support to help men rebuild trust with family members, practice healthy communication, and become responsible parents or partners. Healing often starts within — and reconnecting with loved ones can give a powerful foundation for long-term recovery.

Family Reunification
We strive to help families heal, reconnect, and rebuild trust when the time is right.
We believe recovery doesn’t stop with one person — it affects families too. When possible and appropriate, we work to help residents restore relationships with their children, parents, and loved ones. Through counseling, mentorship, and support, we encourage healing, forgiveness, and healthy reconnection. Reunification doesn’t happen overnight, but with time, compassion, and support, many families find hope again — together.
